President calls on Gen Z protesters to engage in dialogue

Stating that citizens’ demands can be resolved through talks and negotiations in a democracy, the president urged Gen Z representatives to pursue peaceful means rather than allowing further damage to the country.

KATHMANDU, Sept 9:  President Ram Chandra Paudel has appealed to the protesting Gen Z youth to remain calm and come to the dialogue table.



Stating that citizens’ demands can be resolved through talks and negotiations in a democracy, the president urged Gen Z representatives to pursue peaceful means rather than allowing further damage to the country.

“I call on everyone, including Gen Z representatives, to exercise restraint, prevent further harm to the nation, and join the dialogue process,” President Paudel said.


He also requested all citizens to cooperate in finding a peaceful solution to the current crisis.
