Gen Z protest: RSP calls Secretariat meeting

The Gen Z movement intensified as protesters entered the federal parliament building. In response, authorities imposed curfews in several areas of Kathmandu including Baneshwor, Lainchaur, Baluwatar.

KATHMANDU, Sept 8: Amid escalating Gen Z protests, the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has called an emergency Secretariat meeting. RSP Spokesperson Manish Jha said the meeting will take place at 4 PM today at the party’s central office in Banasthali.



The Gen Z movement intensified as protesters entered the federal parliament building. In response, authorities imposed curfews in several areas of Kathmandu including Baneshwor, Lainchaur, Baluwatar.

One protester injured in police firing during the demonstration died while undergoing treatment at Civil Hospital, New Baneshwor. According to hospital sources, more than 70 others are receiving treatment for injuries.
