RUPANDEHI, July 31: The parliamentary party (PP) meeting of the Rastriya Swatantra Party concluded in Bhairahawa on Wednesday with a review of the current session of the parliament, the cooling-off period, and the work of constitutional bodies.

Attended by 15 lawmakers, including the party's acting chair DP Aryal, the meeting also discussed multifaceted perspectives related to the ongoing parliamentary activities in the parliament, including the issue of corruption to cover up visit visa issues that the party has been raising in the parliament, said party chief whip Santosh Pariyar.

“The interference of the executive and other parties in the legislature, including those related to the tampering of the cooling-off period provision in the Federal Civil Service Bill, led the RSP to establish the people's issues in the parliament.”

Pariyar also said that the RSP is serious about the concerns of tourism entrepreneurs in Lumbini and will raise the issue, including the operation of the Bhairahawa International Airport, in the parliament.

He said that the agitation would become broader in scope, insisting that corruption would be protested on the streets and in the parliament.
