KATHMANDU, May 27: The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has demanded the resignation of Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak.
Speaking during the special hour at the beginning of Tuesday’s House of Representatives meeting, RSP lawmaker Shishir Khanal called for Lekhak’s resignation. He stated that if questions are raised against a minister, they should not remain in office.

Lawmaker Khanal called for the formation of a high-level investigation commission to probe the visit visa scandal, including charges of organized crime and money laundering involving the Home Minister and other officials.
Earlier, Barsha Man Pun, a lawmaker from the main opposition party CPN (Maoist Center), also demanded the resignation of the Home Minister Lekhak.
