KATHMANDU, July 23: The country is currently under the influence of monsoon winds, and the monsoon trough is located near its average position, according to the Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD).
Heavy rainfall forecast in Bagmati, several provinces
The weather across the country will remain partly to generally cloudy in the afternoon. There is a possibility of light to moderate rainfall, accompanied by thunder and lightning, at some places in Koshi Province, Bagmati Province, Gandaki Province, and other hilly regions. A few places in the remaining areas of the country may also experience rainfall. One or two places in the Bagmati and Gandaki Provinces may experience heavy rain, the DHM reported.
In the night, the weather will remain partly to generally cloudy across the country. There is a chance of light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning at a few places in all provinces.
