Nikhita Thapa and Swaroop Raj Acharya were among the major winners at the award show. Nikhita won the award for the Best Vocal Performance Female for 'Sandhai Sunna Pau' while also winning the Album of the Year award for her debut album 'Nikhita'.Similarly, Swaroop Raj Acharya won Best Vocal Performance Male for song 'Manamohini' which also won the award for Best Song of the Year.
The Best Vocal Performance Pop Female and Male were awarded respectively to Milan Amatya for 'Dui Thopa Aansu' and Amir Sheakh for 'Oye Maichyang'. The award for the Best Lyrics of the Year went to Raju Babu Shrestha for 'Soche Jasto Bhaye Jeevan'. 'Sandhai Sunna Pau' sung by Nikhita Thapa also won the Best Composition of the Year award for Hari Lamsal.
Kali Prasad Baskota's popular song 'Jaalma' also took home two awards. 'Jaalma' won the Public Choice Award as well as the award for the Best Movie Soundtrack.
