KATHMANDU, July 2: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has fixed the foreign exchange rates for today (Wednesday). According to the NRB, the buying rate of one U.S. dollar has been set at Rs 136.54, and the selling rate at Rs 137.14. On Tuesday, the buying rate of one U.S. dollar was set at 136.92 and the selling rate at 137.52.
The buying rate for one euro is Rs 161.23, and the selling rate is Rs 161.93. Similarly, the buying rate for one British pound sterling is Rs 187.96, and the selling rate is Rs 188.79. The buying rate for one Swiss Franc is Rs 173.07, and the selling rate is Rs 173.83.
The buying rate for one Australian dollar is Rs 89.88, and the selling rate is Rs 90.28. For one Canadian Dollar, the buying rate is Rs 100.34, and the selling rate is Rs 100.78. Likewise, the buying rate for one Singapore dollar is Rs 107.42, and the selling rate is Rs 107.90.
Pound, Singapore Dollar and Australian Dollar strengthen

The buying rate for 10 Japanese yen is Rs 9.55, and the selling rate is Rs 9.60. The buying rate for one Chinese yuan is Rs 19.06, and the selling rate is Rs 19.15. The buying rate for one Saudi Arabian riyal is Rs 36.41, and the selling rate is Rs 36.57. The buying rate for one Qatari riyal is Rs 37.46, and the selling rate is Rs 37.63.
According to the NRB, the buying rate for one Thai baht is Rs 4.21, and the selling rate is Rs 4.23. For one UAE dirham, the buying rate is Rs 37.17, and the selling rate is Rs 37.34. The buying rate for one Malaysian ringgit is Rs 32.53, and the selling rate is Rs 32.67. Similarly, the buying rate for 100 South Korean won is Rs 10.09, and the selling rate is Rs 10.13. The buying rate for one Swedish krona is Rs 14.47, and the selling rate is Rs 14.53, while one Danish krone has a buying rate of Rs 21.61 and a selling rate of Rs 21.70.
NRB has fixed the buying rate of one Hong Kong dollar at Rs 17.39 and the selling rate at Rs 17.47.
Likewise, the buying rate for one Kuwaiti dinar is Rs 447.53, and the selling rate is Rs 449.50. The buying rate for one Bahraini dinar is Rs 362.13, and the selling rate is Rs 363.72, while one Omani rial has a buying rate of Rs 354.64 and a selling rate of Rs 356.20.
The buying rate for 100 Indian rupees has been set at Rs 160.00, and the selling rate at Rs 160.15. Nepal Rastra Bank has stated that these rates may be revised at any time as necessary. It has also been mentioned that the exchange rates fixed by commercial banks may vary, and the updated rates are available on the NRB’s official website.
