KATHMANDU, Sept 14: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has published the foreign exchange rates for Sunday.
According to the central bank, the buying rate for one U.S. dollar has been set at Rs 140.95 and the selling rate at Rs 141.55. The euro stands at Rs 165.30 for buying and Rs 166.00 for selling, while the pound sterling is at Rs 191.05 (buying) and Rs 191.86 (selling). The Swiss franc has been fixed at Rs 176.93 (buying) and Rs 177.68 (selling).
Among other currencies, the Australian dollar is set at Rs 93.68 (buying) and Rs 94.07 (selling), the Canadian dollar at Rs 101.86 and Rs 102.29, and the Singapore dollar at Rs 109.86 and Rs 110.32. The Japanese yen is Rs 9.54 for buying and Rs 9.58 for selling per 10 units, while the Chinese yuan stands at Rs 19.79 and Rs 19.88.

Similarly, the Saudi riyal has been set at Rs 37.57 (buying) and Rs 37.73 (selling), the Qatari riyal at Rs 38.67 and Rs 38.83, the Thai baht at Rs 4.44 and Rs 4.46, the UAE dirham at Rs 38.38 and Rs 38.54, and the Malaysian ringgit at Rs 33.52 and Rs 33.66.
The South Korean won is fixed at Rs 10.13 (buying) and Rs 10.18 (selling) per 100 units, the Swedish krona at Rs 15.11 and Rs 15.17, and the Danish krone at Rs 22.14 and Rs 22.24.
In addition, the Hong Kong dollar is at Rs 18.11 and Rs 18.19, the Kuwaiti dinar at Rs 461.54 and Rs 463.51, the Bahraini dinar at Rs 373.85 and Rs 375.44, and the Omani riyal at Rs 366.08 and Rs 367.64.
The Indian rupee has been set at Rs 160.00 (buying) and Rs 160.15 (selling) per 100 units.
NRB said the rates are subject to revision at any time as necessary. Exchange rates applied by commercial banks may vary, and the latest updates will be available on the central bank’s website.
