KATHMANDU, May 23: Nepal Rastra Bank has set the foreign exchange rates for today, with the buying rate of one US dollar fixed at Rs 137.31 and the selling rate at Rs 137.91. According to the central bank, the euro is being traded at Rs 155.28 for buying and Rs 155.96 for selling, while the pound sterling stands at Rs 184.25 for buying and Rs 185.05 for selling. The Swiss franc has been valued at Rs 166.16 for buying and Rs 166.89 for selling.
The buying rate of one Australian dollar is set at Rs 88.26 and the selling rate at Rs 88.64. The Canadian dollar stands at Rs 99.05 for buying and Rs 99.48 for selling. Likewise, the Singapore dollar has been fixed at Rs 106.35 for buying and Rs 106.82 for selling.
US dollar exchanges at Rs 140.10, euro at Rs 146.41

Nepal Rastra Bank has set the exchange rate of 10 Japanese yen at Rs 9.56 for buying and Rs 9.60 for selling. The Chinese yuan is valued at Rs 19.06 for buying and Rs 19.14 for selling, while the Saudi Arabian riyal is fixed at Rs 36.61 for buying and Rs 36.77 for selling. The Qatari riyal stands at Rs 37.68 for buying and Rs 37.84 for selling.
According to the central bank, one Thai baht is being bought at Rs 4.18 and sold at Rs 4.20. The exchange rate for one UAE dirham is Rs 37.38 for buying and Rs 37.55 for selling. The Malaysian ringgit is valued at Rs 32.12 for buying and Rs 32.26 for selling. For 100 South Korean won, the buying rate is Rs 9.94 and the selling rate is Rs 9.98. The Swedish krona is priced at Rs 14.31 for buying and Rs 14.37 for selling, while the Danish krone stands at Rs 20.82 for buying and Rs 20.91 for selling.
Nepal Rastra Bank has fixed the exchange rate of one Hong Kong dollar at Rs 17.55 for buying and Rs 17.62 for selling. The Kuwaiti dinar is valued at Rs 447.45 for buying and Rs 449.41 for selling. Similarly, the Bahraini dinar stands at Rs 364.19 for buying and Rs 365.78 for selling, and the Omani riyal is priced at Rs 356.67 for buying and Rs 358.23 for selling.
The central bank has set the buying rate for INR 100 at Rs 160 and the selling rate at Rs 160.15. Nepal Rastra Bank has stated that it may revise these rates at any time as needed. It has also stated that the rates set by commercial banks may differ and that updated rates are available on the central bank's official website.
