Federal Parliament Secretariat urges return of looted items

It has stated that printers, scanners, cameras, televisions, monitors, microphones, mixers, speakers, photocopy machines, and other electrical equipment were taken away by unauthorized individuals.

KATHMANDU, Sept 15: The Federal Parliament Secretariat has urged the public to return items looted during the Gen Z protests.



Issuing a notice on Monday by the Federal Secretariat, it has stated that printers, scanners, cameras, televisions, monitors, microphones, mixers, speakers, photocopy machines, and other electrical equipment were taken away by unauthorized individuals.

The Secretariat has requested anyone with information about the whereabouts of these items or the people in possession of them to contact them. It has also appealed to those who may have video footage of the theft to share it, assuring that the identities of informants will be kept confidential.


During the Gen Z protests on September 9, demonstrators vandalized vehicles and set fires inside the Parliament building and its premises in New Baneshwor, Kathmandu.
