BAGMATI, Sept 17: The police in Makwanpur have been active in search of the looted items from various government offices and ministries in Hetauda during the Gen-Z protest.
The police are documenting and inspecting the CCTV footage and videos posted on social media that show the looted items and the persons involved in looting.

The District Police Office also retrieved some of the computers, printers, chairs and photocopy machines that were seized by the protestors. Related offices have been handed over the items.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Shyamu Aryal informed that they were able to get back four computers, two cupboards, three printers, a photocopy machine, six chairs, a refrigerator, 31 sets of speakers, a fan, and a hard disk after launching the search operation. These things have been handed over to the related offices, Aryal added.
The Ministry of Social Development of the Provincial Government has also been provided with its chattels, like three computers, a laptop, some chairs and an induction stove. The Health Ministry also got back the looted items, like a printer, a rack, three chairs, and an electronic kettle.
Various other offices and ministries have lost their in-house property in addition to suffering physical damage during the deadly protest.
