KATHMANDU, July 8: Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) on Tuesday declined marginally by 0.14 points to close at 2,683.86 points.
The secondary market opened at 2,684.01 points and reached the day’s lowest at 2,663.15 points in the first 51 minutes. The market, however, bounced back and hit the day’s high at 2,690.13 points in the next similar time interval. The market remained almost stable for the next two hours before it closed for the day.
Daily turnover crosses Rs 9 billion as NEPSE gains 24.50 points

Seven groups were gainers as finance surged by the largest of 30.84 points. Of the six losers, non-life insurance shed the largest of 47.44 points.
The sensitive index which measures the performance of ‘A’ class companies increased marginally 0.04 points. The daily turnover amount further declined to Rs 6.57 billion from Rs 8.37 billion on Monday.
Among the individual companies, 133 were gainers while 115 were recorded as the losers. Nepal Reinsurance Company Limited had the largest turnover of its shares worth Rs 516.71 million.
Rasuwagadhi Hydropower Company Limited with a decline of 5.08 percent was the highest loser. Butwal Power Company Limited gained the largest of 8.21 percent of its market value.
