KATHMANDU, Aug 25 : Vice President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Vo Thi Anh Xuan, paid a courtesy call on President Ramchandra Paudel at the Office of the President in Sheetal Niwas on Sunday.

During the meeting, President Paudel expressed that Nepal and Vietnam share warm and cordial relations founded on mutual goodwill and cooperation. He stated that the visit of the Vietnamese Vice President would contribute to further strengthening the existing bilateral ties.
Vice President Xuan, who arrived in Nepal on a three-day official visit, also reiterated Vietnam’s commitment to enhancing cooperation with Nepal in areas of mutual interest.
