KATHMANDU, June 29: The Nepal Rastra Bank on Sunday published the latest foreign currency exchange rates, with the US dollar trading at Rs 137.07 for selling and Rs 136.47 for buying.
Among the major global currencies, the euro is being sold at Rs 160.60 and bought at Rs 159.90, while the British pound sterling stands at Rs 188.22 for selling and Rs 187.39 for buying.

The Chinese yuan is being exchanged at Rs 19.11 for selling and Rs 19.03 for buying, and the Japanese yen is trading at Rs 9.48 per 10 units on the selling side.
Likewise, the Swiss franc is priced at Rs 171.65, the Canadian dollar at Rs 100.41, and the Australian dollar at Rs 89.60 for selling.
From the Gulf region, the Saudi riyal is being sold at Rs 36.55, the Qatari riyal at Rs 37.50, and the UAE dirham at Rs 37.32. The Kuwaiti dinar remains the highest-valued currency, selling at Rs 448.18.
The central bank updates the rates daily based on international currency movements. These rates apply to commercial banks and money exchangers licensed by the NRB.
