KHOTANG, July 19: Police have arrested 18-year-old Babin Rai of Khidima VDC-1 on the charge of raping a minor girl in the district on Wednesday.
According to DSP Bidya Nanda Maji, Rai was nabbed for raping a seven-year-old girl. On July 29, Rai had allegedly raped the minor while she was playing near her house.

According to police, Rai has also admitted to his crime.
A case has been filed against Rai under the rape charge.
The victim is undergoing treatment at District Hospital Diktel. Her condition is said to be normal.
