MORANG, Feb 3: Police have arrested a man for allegedly raping a minor in Sandarhainchaki of Morang district. According to Morang Police Spokesperson DSP Deepak Shrestha, Ram Dev Chaudhary, 53, of Sundaraharainch Municipality has been arrested on the charge of raping a 12-year-old girl of the same place.
“It has been revealed that Chaudhary took the girl to a bamboo bush near his house on Wednesday evening and raped her,” said DSP Shrestha.

The victim has been taken to BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences in Dharan for treatment. The arrested Chaudhary has been kept at the Area Police Office, Belbari and further investigation is underway, according to the police.
