KATHMANDU, Sept 10: Inmates have escaped from Dillibazar Prison on Tuesday amid escalating protests.
According to officials, the Nepali Army (NA) personnel attempted to block them at the prison gate, but the prisoners managed to break out their cordon. They demanded their release on general bail.

Similar incidents have been reported across the country, with inmates fleeing during the ongoing protests. The jailbreaks intensified after Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Chairman Rabi Lamichhane was released from Nakkhu Prison earlier on Tuesday.
