In a statement issued on Thursday, Paudel emphasized that, despite the country’s current challenging circumstances, discussions and actions are being undertaken to resolve the situation strictly within the framework of the Constitution. He also appealed to all parties to exercise restraint and cooperate in maintaining peace and stability throughout the country.
President Paudel said: “In these difficult times, I am exploring and making every effort to find solutions within the constitutional framework while safeguarding democracy and ensuring law and order. Citizens can be confident that we are working to address the protesters’ demands promptly. I appeal to all parties to act with restraint and support efforts to maintain peace and stability in the country.”
