Police detain seven individuals during RPP protest

Police have taken seven people, including Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) Chairman Rajendra Lingden, into custody, for attempting to protest in a restricted area.

KATHMANDU, April 20: Police have taken seven people, including Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) Chairman Rajendra Lingden, into custody, for attempting to protest in a restricted area.



The District Police Range, Kathmandu stated that seven individuals, including President Rajendra Lingden, Gyanendra Shahi, Buddhi Man Tamang, Amar Pariyar, Saroj Ghimire, Kiran Duwal, and National Youth Front President Kailash Katwal, were taken into custody.

They were taken into custody from inside Singha Durbar.


All those detained are currently being held at the District Police Range Bhadrakali.
