KATHMANDU, July 7: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said that he raised the issue of Nepali national Bipin Joshi’s release during his recent meeting with Egyptian Prime Minister Dr Mostafa Kamal Madbouly.
Speaking at Monday’s House of Representatives meeting, Prime Minister Oli briefed lawmakers on his recent official visit to Spain. He said discussions with Egyptian authorities focused on matters of mutual interest and cooperation, during which he also requested continued efforts toward securing Joshi’s release.

Prime Minister Oli also shared that during his meeting with Estonian President Alar Karis in Seville, Spain, they explored opportunities for collaboration in the field of information technology.
The prime minister held separate bilateral talks with the Prime Ministers of Spain and Portugal, discussing ways to strengthen Nepal’s ties and enhance cooperation across various sectors. “These diplomatic engagements will help reinforce Nepal’s bilateral and multilateral relations,” he said.
