Deuba couple assaulted at home amid Gen Z protests

The resignation comes amid escalating protests by Gen Z youths. At least 19 youths have been killed nationwide so far, while hundred of others are injured in police fire.
He submitted his resignation to President Ram Chandra Paudel in accordance with Article 76(2) of the Constitution of Nepal. In his resignation letter, Prime Minister Oli stated that he submitted his resignation to pave the way for the nation considering the ongoing difficult situation in the country. His resignation will take effect today as per the constitutional provision of Article 77(1).
