Narayanghat-Muglin road reopens after rock clearance

According to Engineer Krishna Acharya, Information Officer at the Road Division Office, Bharatpur, the road was initially closed from 11 am to 1 pm to remove a rock stuck on the cliff at Tuinbheer, located in Ichchhakamana-6, Chitwan. Since the work wasn’t completed on time, the closure was extended till 3 pm.

MUGLIN, June 26: The Narayanghat-Muglin road section, which was closed until 3 pm today, has now resumed two-way traffic operations.



According to Engineer Krishna Acharya, Information Officer at the Road Division Office, Bharatpur, the road was initially closed from 11 am to 1 pm to remove a rock stuck on the cliff at Tuinbheer, located in Ichchhakamana-6, Chitwan. Since the work wasn’t completed on time, the closure was extended till 3 pm.

Acharya said the rock was dislodged using a long-boom excavator to reduce the risk of accidents caused by falling debris.


He confirmed that vehicular movement in both directions has now resumed. The Road Division Office had requested drivers to remain disciplined in their respective lanes during the closure period.
