Nagdhunga-Muglin road reopens after landslide debris clearance

The closure had caused long traffic jams and stranded thousands of passengers.

KATHMANDU, Sept 23: The Nagdhunga-Muglin road in Dhading reopened Tuesday morning after nearly eight hours following a landslide at Jwang Khola in Benighat-Rorang Rural Municipality-10.

The closure had caused long traffic jams and stranded thousands of passengers. Authorities had advised vehicles entering or leaving Kathmandu to use alternative routes due to the time needed to clear the large landslide.
