KATHMANDU, Sept 25: The Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD) reports that the influence of monsoon winds has weakened nationwide, with only local winds having a partial effect.
Skies are likely to remain generally cloudy over hilly areas and partly cloudy elsewhere. Moderate rainfall accompanied by thunder and lightning is expected in parts of the hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces; at a few locations in the hilly areas of Lumbini and Karnali; and at isolated spots in other regions.
Heavy rainfall predicted in some places in Koshi, Bagmati
The MFD has warned of the possibility of heavy rainfall this afternoon at one or two places in the hilly regions of Koshi and Bagmati.
By nightfall, skies will be partly cloudy in the hills and mainly fair across the rest of the country. Moderate rain is still possible in some hilly areas of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki, and at isolated places in the remaining hill regions.
