Minor missing in Saptakoshi river

An 11-year-old boy has gone missing in the Saptakoshi River at Rajabas, Barahakshetra Municipality–9 in Sunsari.

SUNSARI, July 21: An 11-year-old boy has gone missing in the Saptakoshi River at Rajabas, Barahakshetra Municipality–9 in Sunsari.

According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Yograj Khatiwada, Dipesh Mehta, son of Ramvilas Mehta from Bhokraha Narsingh Rural Municipality–1, went missing while swimming in the river.


Dipesh had gone to swim with two friends. While the other two safely returned, Dipesh was swept away and has been missing since. A joint team of Nepal Police and Armed Police Force personnel been deployed to search for him.
