KATHMANDU, July 2: The Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) has announced that applications for scholarships in public schools for the academic session 2025/26 will now be accepted online.
Issuing a notice on Wednesday, the Education Department of the KMC stated that students aspiring to study in Grades 11 and 12 under the scholarship quota will be selected through a competitive entrance examination.

Interested and eligible candidates can apply online by visiting the official KMC website or directly via entrance.kathmandu.gov.np.
The deadline for submitting applications is midnight of July 11.
As per the notice, the entrance exam is scheduled for July 19, and will be held from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM.
The exam will consist of 100 objective multiple-choice questions based on the Grade 10 secondary-level curriculum.
