The DHM has warned of the risks of flooding, landslides, and debris flow following the potential rainfall. It has urged the general public in urban and Terai areas to remain cautious, as there is a risk of inundation.
As water levels in rivers, rivulets, and streams—both large and small—could rise, and since daily life, agriculture, health, tourism, roads near rivers, and air transport may be affected, the department has requested the public and all concerned authorities to remain alert and make necessary preparations.
