KATHMANDU, Sept 10: Following violent protests, Kathmandu streets have been left in disarray. On Wednesday, local residents along with protesting youths took to the streets to clean up several parts of the city.

The Nepali Army was deployed after 10 PM on Tuesday, gradually restoring normalcy in the Valley. Security forces, including the army, remain deployed in the streets to maintain law and order, with a strong presence on the streets. They are also working to extinguish fires set to public and private property during the unrest.
