KATHMANDU, Aug 3: The US dollar continues to remain stable in the Nepali market, with the Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) setting Thursday’s selling rate at Rs 140.37 and the buying rate at Rs 139.77. The greenback's steady performance reflects consistent demand in remittance and import sectors.
Revised interest rate corridor system introduced

According to the daily exchange rates published by NRB, other major currencies also saw slight fluctuations. The euro is being traded at Rs 160.20 for selling, while the British pound stands at Rs 184.81. The Australian dollar is selling at Rs 90.26 and the Canadian dollar at Rs 101.20. Likewise, the Swiss franc is selling at Rs 166.16.
These rates are based on the weighted average of interbank transactions among commercial banks and are subject to change with market dynamics.
