KATHMANDU, July 27: The Nepal Rastra Bank has reported slight fluctuations in foreign exchange rates today. The U.S. dollar is being traded at Rs 138.13 for buying and Rs 138.73 for selling.
The euro is priced at Rs 161.79 (buying) and Rs 162.49 (selling), while the pound sterling has seen a slight dip, trading at Rs 185.66 and Rs 186.47, respectively. The Swiss franc stands at Rs 173.21 for buying and Rs 173.97 for selling.
Pound, Singapore Dollar and Australian Dollar strengthen

Among Gulf currencies, the Saudi riyal is exchanged at Rs 36.82 (buying) and Rs 36.98 (selling), while the Qatari riyal is valued at Rs 37.79 and Rs 37.96. The Omani riyal—one of the highest-valued currencies in the region—is trading at Rs 358.77 for buying and Rs 360.33 for selling.
Other key rates include the Indian rupee at Rs 160.00 (per 100 units) for buying and Rs 160.15 for selling. The Kuwaiti dinar remains the most expensive foreign currency, with buying and selling rates of Rs 452.38 and Rs 454.35, respectively. The Japanese yen is trading at Rs 9.34 (buying) and Rs 9.38 (selling) per 10 units.
