Skies are expected to remain generally cloudy this afternoon over Koshi Province and the hilly regions and partly cloudy elsewhere. Moderate rainfall is likely in a few areas of Koshi and Madhesh provinces, as well as in the hilly belts of Bagmati and Gandaki. One or two spots in the hills and Terai of other provinces may also see showers. The MFD has warned of possible heavy rain at isolated locations in the hilly regions of Koshi and Bagmati.
By nightfall, the hills are expected to stay mostly cloudy while the Terai turns partly cloudy. Moderate rain may continue in a few hilly locations and at one or two places in the Terai, the MFD said.
