Coca-Cola festival theme honors mothers

KATHMANDU: Soft drift brand Coca-Cola has said that it is promoting the theme of 'mother' as part of its 'Mann Kholau Coke Sanga' campaign for the Dashain festivals.



The brand has given continuity to its campaign that it had started three years ago. Issuing a statement on Friday, Coca-Cola said that through this theme, it wanted to convey the message that mothers are the light and heart of every household and every occasion.

According to the statement, Coca-Cola has been using the hashtag #AamaBinaKRamailo, and the tagline, "My Mom makes my Dashain Special" to put forward this campaign idea across all its social media channels. As the initial step of this campaign, Coke has unveiled its new labels with six endearing terms for mothers.


Six different labels will now be seen in Coca-Cola PET bottles (from 500 ml to 2.25 liters), according to the statement. "The labels namely Aama, Mamu, Mai, Muma, Mummy and Maa are placed in Coca-Cola bottles so as to honor mothers from all walks of life.The labels have been enhanced by different Dashain elements like Kites, Dashain Ping, Tika-Jamara etc," the statement added.
