KATHMANDU, Aug 1: Kathmandu-based Chinese Embassy marked the 91st anniversary of the establishment of the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) by organizing a function on Tuesday. The program was attended by Chinese Ambassador to Nepal Yu Hong, Nepal Army Chief General Rajendra Chhetri and Defense Secretary Bishnu Prasad Lamsal, among other top officials. Speaking at the program, Defense Attache of the Chinese Embassy Liu Xiaoguang briefed the audience about the contributions made by the PLA in China and beyond. Similarly, Nepal Army Chief Chhetri thanked the PLA for providing assistance for modernizing Nepal Army.
