Chandra Kuber Khapung appointed as Nepal Police Chief

Incumbent IGP Deepak Thapa will retire on September 3. Following his retirement, the government named Khapung to lead the national police force.

KATHMANDU, Aug 29: The government has appointed Chandra Kuber Khapung as the new Inspector General of Police (IGP). A cabinet meeting held on Friday decided to elevate Khapung as the 32nd IGP of Nepal Police.
