Ambulance torched amid Gen Z protest in Baneshwor

Protesters, angered after police used force to control the demonstration, set the ambulance on fire, according to authorities.

KATHMANDU, Sept 8: An ambulance was torched in New Baneshwor as Gen Z protests turned violent.

Protesters, angered after police used force to control the demonstration, set the ambulance on fire, according to authorities. At least two youths died in the police gun fire so far, while scores of others are left seriously injured. The injured youths are currently undergoing treatment at Civil Hospital and Trauma Center.
