General Manager Vikram Singh emphasized, "The 700 trees we planted and the waste we cleared from the Tarebhir trail are both steps toward a greener, more mindful community. At Aloft, sustainability is not a slogan—it’s a culture we live and breathe every day."

This initiative is part of Marriott's expanded environmental impact, working with local reforestation organizations to plant trees in areas selected for biodiversity enhancement, ecosystem restoration, and community benefit, the press release further stated.

Aloft Kathmandu Thamel's efforts not only contributed to Marriott's larger goal but also deepened its ties with the local community and environment. The hotel continues to lead in implementing sustainable operations, further aligning with Marriott’s global sustainability vision.
