RAUTAHAT, Aug 24: Police recovered the body of a woman stuffed inside a suitcase abandoned by the roadside in Rautahat district.
The suspicious suitcase was found around 10 pm Saturday near Mudwalba Mode along the Gaur–Pipara road section, according to Superintendent of Police (SP) Netramani Giri, chief of the Rautahat District Police Office.

When opened on Sunday morning, the suitcase tied with the rope was found to contain the body of an unidentified woman. Police suspect she was murdered, placed inside the suitcase, and dumped along the roadside by unknown individuals.
The body was taken out by a forensic team and sent to Gaur District Hospital for a postmortem. SP Giri said further investigation into the incident is underway.
