KATHMANDU, April 9: Nepal Rastra Bank has fixed the foreign exchange rates for today. According to the central bank, the buying rate for one US dollar is Rs 137.73 and the selling rate is Rs 138.33, marking an appreciation from yesterday’s price. On Tuesday, the US Dollar was bought at Rs 137.04 while it was sold at Rs 137.64.
The buying rate for one European euro is Rs 150.62, and the selling rate is Rs 151.28. Similarly, the buying rate for one British pound sterling is Rs 175.87, and the selling rate is Rs 176.63. One Swiss franc is bought at Rs 161.03 and sold at Rs 161.73.
One Australian dollar is being bought at Rs 83.20 and sold at Rs 83.56. The buying rate for one Canadian dollar is Rs 97.06 and the selling rate is Rs 97.49. One Singapore dollar is bought at Rs 101.99 and sold at Rs 102.43.

The buying rate for 10 Japanese yen is Rs 9.38 and the selling rate is Rs 9.42. One Chinese yuan is being bought at Rs 18.77 and sold at Rs 18.85. The buying rate for one Saudi Arabian riyal is Rs 36.69 and the selling rate is Rs 36.85. One Qatari riyal is being bought at Rs 37.78 and sold at Rs 37.95.
According to the central bank, the buying rate for one Thai baht is Rs 3.96 and the selling rate is Rs 3.98. One UAE dirham is being bought at Rs 37.50 and sold at Rs 37.66. The buying rate for one Malaysian ringgit is Rs 30.67 and the selling rate is Rs 30.80. The buying rate for 100 South Korean won is Rs 9.30 and the selling rate is Rs 9.34. One Swedish kroner is being bought at Rs 13.72 and sold at Rs 13.78, while one Danish kroner is bought at Rs 20.18 and sold at Rs 20.27.
The buying rate for one Hong Kong dollar is Rs 17.73 and the selling rate is Rs 17.80. One Kuwaiti dinar is being bought at Rs 447.19 and sold at Rs 449.14. The buying rate for one Bahraini dinar is Rs 365.38 and the selling rate is Rs 366.97. One Omani riyal is being bought at Rs 357.76 and sold at Rs 359.32.
The buying rate for 100 Indian rupees is fixed at Rs 160.00, and the selling rate is Rs 160.15.
Nepal Rastra Bank has stated that these rates are subject to change at any time as needed. It has also mentioned that exchange rates fixed by commercial banks may vary, and the latest rates are available on the central bank's website.
