KATHMANDU April 19: Nepal Rastra Bank has fixed the foreign exchange rates for today as per which the buying rate of one US dollar is set at Rs 136.30, while the selling rate stands at Rs 136.90.
Similarly, the buying rate for one euro is Rs 155.03 and the selling rate is Rs 155.71. One British pound sterling is being bought at Rs 180.96 and sold at Rs 181.76. The buying rate for one Swiss franc is Rs 166.58 and the selling rate is Rs 167.31.
One Australian dollar is being bought at Rs 86.89 and sold at Rs 87.27. The Canadian dollar is being bought at Rs 98.38 and sold at Rs 98.81. Likewise, one Singapore dollar has a buying rate of Rs 103.91 and a selling rate of Rs 104.37.

The buying rate for 10 Japanese yen is Rs 9.58 and the selling rate is Rs 9.62. One Chinese yuan is being bought at Rs 18.66 and sold at Rs 18.75. The Saudi Arabian riyal is being bought at Rs 36.33 and sold at Rs 36.49, while the Qatari riyal is being bought at Rs 37.39 and sold at Rs 37.56.
According to the central bank, one Thai baht is being bought at Rs 4.08 and sold at Rs 4.10. The UAE dirham is being bought at Rs 37.11 and sold at Rs 37.27. One Malaysian ringgit is being bought at Rs 30.88 and sold at Rs 31.02.
Likewise, 100 South Korean won are being bought at Rs 9.57 and sold at Rs 9.62. One Swedish krona is being bought at Rs 14.17 and sold at Rs 14.23, while one Danish krone is being bought at Rs 20.76 and sold at Rs 20.85.
Nepal Rastra Bank has also set the buying rate for one Hong Kong dollar at Rs 17.56 and the selling rate at Rs 17.64. One Kuwaiti dinar is being bought at Rs 444.54 and sold at Rs 446.50. The Bahraini dinar has a buying rate of Rs 361.61 and a selling rate of Rs 363.20. One Omani rial is being bought at Rs 354.03 and sold at Rs 355.59.
Furthermore, the central bank has fixed the buying rate of INR 100 at Rs 160.00 and the selling rate at Rs 160.15.
Nepal Rastra Bank has stated that it may revise these exchange rates at any time as needed. The exchange rates set by commercial banks may vary based on the open market, and the updated rates are available on the central bank's website.
