US Dollar rate remains unchanged, Euro depreciates

Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has set the foreign exchange rates for today. According to the central bank, the buying rate for the US dollar is Rs 136.08, while the selling rate is Rs 136.68. The rate has remained the same as it was the previous day.

KATHMANDU, April 7: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has set the foreign exchange rates for today. According to the central bank, the buying rate for the US dollar is Rs 136.08, while the selling rate is Rs 136.68. The rate has remained the same as it was the previous day.



For the European Euro, the buying rate is Rs 149.09, and the selling rate is Rs 149.75, marking a fall from the rate of Sunday. The euro was being bought at Rs 150.39 and sold at Rs 151.05 yesterday.


The UK Pound Sterling has a buying rate of Rs 175.43 and a selling rate of Rs 176.20. The Swiss Franc is priced at Rs 158.13 for buying while at Rs 158.83 for selling.

For the Australian Dollar, the buying rate is Rs 82.25 and the selling rate is Rs 82.61. The Canadian Dollar stands at a buying rate of Rs 95.69 and a selling rate of Rs 96.11. The Singapore Dollar is fixed at Rs 101.10 for buying and Rs 101.55 for selling. The Japanese Yen is valued at Rs 9.26 for buying and Rs 9.30 for selling (for every 10 Yen). The Chinese Yuan has a buying rate of Rs 18.69 and a selling rate of Rs 18.77. The Saudi Riyal is set at Rs 36.27 for buying and Rs 36.43 for selling, while the Qatari Riyal is priced at Rs 37.33 for buying and Rs 37.50 for selling.


According to the central bank, the Thai Baht has a buying rate of Rs 3.95 and a selling rate of Rs 3.97. The UAE Dirham is set at Rs 37.05 for buying and Rs 37.21 for selling. The Malaysian Ringgit has a buying rate of Rs 30.67 and a selling rate of Rs 30.80. The South Korean Won is priced at Rs 9.32 for buying and Rs 9.36 for selling per 100 Won. The Swedish Krona is set at Rs 13.62 for buying and Rs 13.68 for selling, while the Danish Krone is priced at Rs 20.00 for buying and Rs 20.08 for selling.


The Hong Kong Dollar is valued at Rs 17.50 for buying and Rs 17.58 for selling. The Kuwaiti Dinar is priced at Rs 442.09 for buying and Rs 444.04 for selling. The Bahraini Dinar stands at Rs 360.96 for buying and Rs 362.56 for selling, and the Omani Rial is priced at Rs 353.49 for buying and Rs 355.05 for selling.


The buying rate for 100 Indian Rupees is Rs 160.00 and the selling rate is Rs 160.15.


NRB has stated that these exchange rates are subject to revision at any time as necessary. Commercial banks may set different exchange rates, and the updated exchange rates will be available on the central bank's website.
