KATHMANDU, May 10: Nepal Rastra Bank has fixed the foreign exchange rates for today. According to the published rates, the buying rate for one US dollar stands at Rs 136.30, while the selling rate is Rs 136.90, marking a depreciation. Yesterday, the buying rate of one US dollar stood at Rs 136.84 and the selling rate at Rs 137.44.
Similarly, the buying rate for one euro is Rs 153.39, and the selling rate is Rs 154.07. For one UK pound sterling, the buying rate is Rs 180.97 and the selling rate is Rs 181.77. The bank has fixed the buying rate for one Swiss franc at Rs 164.09 and the selling rate at Rs 164.81.
The buying rate for one Australian dollar is Rs 87.27, and the selling rate is Rs 87.66. One Canadian dollar is being bought at Rs 97.94 and sold at Rs 98.38. Likewise, one Singapore dollar is being bought at Rs 105.05 and sold at Rs 105.51.
Pound, Singapore Dollar and Australian Dollar strengthen

The central bank has fixed the buying rate for 10 Japanese yen at Rs 9.39 and the selling rate at Rs 9.43. The buying rate for one Chinese yuan is Rs 18.82, and the selling rate is Rs 18.91. One Saudi Arabian riyal is being bought at Rs 36.34 and sold at Rs 36.50, while one Qatari riyal is being bought at Rs 37.39 and sold at Rs 37.56.
According to Nepal Rastra Bank, the buying rate for one Thai baht is Rs 4.13, and the selling rate is Rs 4.15. The buying rate for one UAE dirham is Rs 37.11, and the selling rate is Rs 37.27. One Malaysian ringgit is being bought at Rs 31.72 and sold at Rs 31.86.
Likewise, the buying rate for 100 South Korean won is Rs 9.74, and the selling rate is Rs 9.78. One Swedish krona is being bought at Rs 14.05 and sold at Rs 14.11, while one Danish krone is being bought at Rs 20.56 and sold at Rs 20.65.
Nepal Rastra Bank has fixed the buying rate for one Hong Kong dollar at Rs 17.52 and the selling rate at Rs 17.60. One Kuwaiti dinar is being bought at Rs 444.35 and sold at Rs 446.31. The buying rate for one Bahraini dinar is Rs 361.52, and the selling rate is Rs 363.11. One Omani riyal is being bought at Rs 354.05 and sold at Rs 355.61.
Likewise, the buying rate for 100 Indian rupees is Rs 160.00, and the selling rate is Rs 160.15.
Nepal Rastra Bank has stated that it may revise these exchange rates at any time as needed. It has also been noted that the rates set by commercial banks may vary based on open market conditions, and the latest rates are available on the central bank's website.
