KATHMANDU, Sept 6: The second Statute Convention of the CPN-UML is continuing for a second day on Saturday. At Sunrise Hall in Godavari, Lalitpur, the presentation of reports left over from Friday will take place, scheduled at 8 AM, according to UML Publicity Department Chief Rajendra Gautam.
Today, reports will be presented by Keshav Badal, Chair of the Central Discipline Commission; Dr. Pushpa Kandel, Chair of the Central Accounts Commission; and Dr. Bijay Subba, Chair of the Central Election Commission.

On the first day, Friday, Prime Minister and Party Chair KP Sharma Oli presented the political report, while Party Vice Chair, Deputy Prime Minister, and Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Paudel presented the statute amendment proposal. General Secretary Pokharel presented the organizational report, and Amrit Kumar Bohora, Chair of the Central Advisory Council, presented his report.
Delegates will also be divided into 10 groups today to hold group discussions on the reports. With the slogan “Building Decisive National Power, Our Commitment; Prosperous Nepal, Happy Nepali, Our National Goal”, the UML’s second Statute Convention commenced on Friday.
The convention has a total of 2,341 participants, including 2,026 delegates from across the country and an additional 315 organizers. It will run until Sunday.
