KATHMANDU, July 8: CPN-UML member of the House of Representatives (HoR), Achyut Prasad Mainali has demanded the resignation of Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Rabi Lamichhane.
MP Mainali demanded Lamichhane's resignation due to his failure to effectively manage natural disasters such as floods, landslides, and inundations, as well as for the lack of a proper plan to tackle these natural calamities.

Speaking during the emergency hour of the HoR, lawmaker Mainali said that 67 people have died in these natural disasters within one month.
Similarly, Mainali also demanded free medical treatment for those injured in these natural calamities.
