KATHMANDU, July 13: With former President Bidya Devi Bhandari returning into active politics, the CPN-UML’s establishment faction has called a joint meeting of all central departments.
The meeting, scheduled for Sunday at 3 pm at the Tulsi Lal Memorial Foundation in Chyasal, comes as the party prepares for its upcoming statute convention set for September 5–7. General Secretary Shankar Pokharel will address the gathering.

All heads, secretaries, and members of UML’s 32 central departments have been instructed to attend. The meeting also precedes key party events, including the Standing Committee meeting on July 18 and the Central Committee meeting on July 21.
