UAE grants amnesty to 120 Nepalis

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) government has granted amnesty to 120 Nepalis imprisoned for various offences.

KATHMANDU, Aug 17: The United Arab Emirates (UAE) government has granted amnesty to 120 Nepalis imprisoned for various offences.

According to the Embassy of Nepal in Abu Dhabi, the remaining prison terms of those individuals have been waived. The decision was announced on the occasion of Al Ahad, an important festival for followers of Islam.
