KATHMANDU, Aug 10: Nepal will take on strong North Korea today in their third and final match of the AFC U-20 Women’s Asian Cup qualifiers held in Thimpu, Bhutan. The game kicks off at 1:45 PM at Changlimithang Stadium in Thimpu.
North Korea has already won both the U-20 World Cup and Asian Cup titles. Nepal started the qualifiers with a 1-1 draw against Bhutan and followed it up with a 1-0 win over Saudi Arabia. On the other hand, North Korea crushed Saudi Arabia 15-0 and Bhutan 10-0.

The last time Nepal faced North Korea in this age group (then U-19) in the Asian Cup was in 2004, where Nepal suffered a heavy 19-0 defeat.
Only group winners and the three best runners-up will qualify for the Asian Cup. To make it through, Nepal must beat North Korea today.
