KATHMANDU, April 6: Nepal has lost the toss in the second match of the three-match one-day series between Nepal U-19 and Afghanistan U-19 cricket teams today. In the toss that took place at the Mulpani Cricket Ground, Afghanistan won and chose to bat first.
As a result, Nepal is now bowling first. The two teams are playing practice matches as part of their preparations for the U-19 Men's World Cup Asia Qualifiers.

In the first match on Thursday, Nepal was defeated by Afghanistan by a wide margin of 130 runs. With this, Afghanistan has taken a 1-0 lead in the three-match series. Nepal is under pressure to win today's match to avoid a series loss. If Nepal loses today, Afghanistan will claim the series. Therefore, Nepal must win today's game to stay in contention.
Next week, the Asia Qualifiers will be held in Nepal, where Nepal, Afghanistan, Hong Kong, the UAE, and Oman will compete.
