KATHMANDU, May 19: Two persons were injured in separate incidents of Khukuri attack in Rasuwa district.
According to the District Police Office, Thurpu Sangbo Tamang, 29, of Gosaikunda Rural Municipality-5 was injured in the incident taken place in Syaphrubensi this morning.
Tamang, receiving deep injuries on his head and ears, has been admitted to the Grande International Hospital, Kathmandu. Police said that a search for the attacker was ongoing.
However, the relatives of the injured are staging demonstrations at Syaphrubensi, and have also vandalized the police post, demanding action against the culprits.
Meanwhile, a youth was injured in Khukuri attack that took place at Yarsa village of Naukunda Rural Municipality last night. Police has taken two persons under control for their involvement in the crime. However, names of the victim and perpetrators are not revealed yet.
It is said that the injured is receiving treatment at the Grande International Hospital. RSS
