In a statement, HAN expressed concern that the damaged hotels will be unable to meet their financial obligations to banks and other institutions. The association has called for a powerful judicial committee to investigate the destruction, punishment for the perpetrators, and compensation measures.

HAN further urged the government to provide an economic relief package for repair and reconstruction, stressing that investor confidence must be maintained to ensure tourism development and economic stability.
