Top End T20 Series: Nepal sets Hobart 181-run target

KATHMANDU, Aug 19: In its fourth match of the ongoing Top End T20 Series in Australia, Nepal set Hobart Hurricanes a target of 181 runs.



Winning the toss and batting first at Kazalys Arena in Darwin, Nepal posted 180 runs for the loss of seven wickets in the allotted overs.

For Nepal, Arif Sheikh top-scored with 33 runs, while Aasif Sheikh made 29, Kushal Bhurtel 27, and Bhim Sharki 18. Lokesh Bam remained unbeaten on 25. However, captain Rohit Paudel and Kushal Malla failed to reach double figures. Hobart conceded 31 runs in extras.


For Hobart, Nivethan Radhakrishnan and Raf MacMillan picked up two wickets each.


Nepal had lost its previous three matches and is still in search of its first victory in the tournament.
